NWCDHA Scholarship
THE NORTHWEST CONNECTICUT DRAFT HORSE
ASSOCIAITON, INC.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Northwest Connecticut Draft Horse
Association, Inc. will award a scholarship to a graduating high school senior or
a current college student to assist them with their education at an accredited
institution of higher learning or secondary vocational school. The scholarship
will be awarded to student who will be pursing a course of study in Equine
Science, Agriculture or a Related Field.
RULES
-
The applicant must be a high school senior or graduate,
reside in the tri-state area of Connecticut, Massachusetts and New
York and must be active in Equine, Agriculture or Related Fields activities.

Applicants may be required to be interviewed at the
discretion of the Scholarship Committee.

Applicants must return the completed application form to
Bryan Clark, 603 Orange Center Rd., Orange, CT 06477 on or before June 15,
2008.

To be considered for the scholarship, all questions must be
answered. A high school or college transcript must be attached.

The scholarship recipient will be notified of their award
prior to July 10, 2008.

Applications will be judged on the following priorities:
Participation in
Equine Science, Agriculture or Related Field Activities
Citizenship and
Leadership
Scholastic Standing
Financial Need
The Scholarship Committee reserves the right
not to issue an award if no applicant adequately fulfills the requirements.
